A community group is running a young people’s market on the Ambassador House forecourt on February 18 to 20 from 11am to 3pm.

As part of the project run by FSE, young people, aged 11 to 16 get to learn about cooking a variety of foods, as well as experiencing street trading, and working towards achieving a Level 2 food safety certificate.

FSE already runs a cook and trade stall at the College Square food market in East Croydon.

Leeman Francis from FSE group said: “Thornton Heath Young people’s Market will allow young people the platform to display their cooking skills, customer service skills and development of a range of life skills.”
