We are looking for young budding journalists, photographers and designers who would like the opportunity to produce an edition of The Chronicle.

Zaynab Osman (pictured), who works for the Palace for Life Foundation is taking on the Editor’s role of a special youth edition of The Chronicle which aims to give a voice to young people growing up here.

This will provide a fantastic opportunity for the next generation to experience the rollercoaster ride of being a journalist in 2018, including: writing headlines and reports, drawing illustrations, and interviewing some very special guests.

Zaynab is a Business Support Officer with Palace for Life – the official charity of Crystal Palace FC  helping young South Londoners grow through sport.

She also works as a coach on the ‘Team Mates’ programme working with targeted children in the local area to develop their social skills and emotional intelligence.

Zaynab studied International Development at university, grew up locally and is committed to helping young people in the community.

She will be working closely with Chronicle Editor, Andrea Perry to provide workshops and training to support people who are interested in honing their skills and gaining valuable experience. If you are: aged 13 to 24, live or attend school in Croydon, email: zaynabosman@palaceforlife.org with a short bio about yourself and why you are interested in this opportunity.
