charity providing mental health support is offering young people a free £15 barbershop hair cut at the end of lockdown if they feature in the #NoTrimChallenge.

All you have to do to is embrace your hair growth and send your #NoTrim look to Off The Record: www.talkofftherecord.org/no-trim-challenge.

A number of familiar faces have already shown off their lockdown hair and beard growth to launch the #NoTrim Challenge including: Ben Eckett of Gloves Not Gunz Gloves; chef Craig McNuff from Original Flava (pictured); You Tuber and comedian: Smurfing Turk, , Myke Catterall from Legacy Youth Zone (pictured).

OTR has worked on a number of projects with local barber shops around mental health including Mind My Hair Hear My Mind project, launched last year with the Croydon BME Forum which responds to high rates of serious mental health conditions, in African Caribbean and Asian boys and men.

OTR devised the challenged after staff ‘noticed that a lot of young people are feeling rough as they can’t get to a barber’ during lockdown and wanted to offer young people something to look forward to.
