Judging has finished in the Thornton Heath in Bloom 2017 competition.

Following on from last year’s first ever In Bloom competition, Thornton Heath Community Action Team received double the amount of entries this year

Judges were looking for the best and brightest front gardens and business premises in Thornton Heath.

Entries were graded on kerb appeal, design, biodiversity, colour scheme and most importantly effort. The competition is part of Arts Week and prizes for the top three in the categories business premises, best front garden, and new category best use of front concrete space with pots, planters and hanging baskets.

The e winners will be announced at an award ceremony on Wednesday July 19 at the rugby club.
