A new course aims to teach Thornton Heath residents skills in how be happy!

Action for Happiness runs form Wednesday October 30 to December 18,  from 7.30-9.30pm at Scratchley Hall, 83 Brigstock Road.

The eight week sessions provide the chance to meet friendly, like-minded people and find simple ways to make yourself and others happy.

The secular science-based course is for people who want to learn how to live happily and spread happiness to those around them.

It was created by the Action for Happiness charity for people to tune in to what really matters in life, connect with people around them and find small ways to start taking action. It is run by local volunteers and based on donations.

This course is for anyone interested in exploring how to create happiness for themselves or others.

It looks at new approaches to try out in your own life  or developing passions about creating happier communities and a happier world.
