TheAmbassador House forecourt is set to be rejuvenated by the council after a collective of architects and designers were appointed following a  competition to revamp the dated space.

The budget for the project is only £60,000 with the aim that it will be completed in time for the summer  when a proposed programme of activities to rejuvenate the forecourt will be rolled out, including a cultural programme ‘getting active’, and youth arts events.

The CR7 Square Team has drawn up ideas for the forecourt after consulting with local people with plans for a bus stop garden, planters, opening up the forecourt by moving the railings, repairing tileing, creating vibrant designs on the asphalt, improving  lighting, and building a storage unit which would double up as pop up kiosks.
