A CHARITY shop on the High Street is set to be transformed in to a pop up gallery featuring local artists and makers.

Croydon Shared will be partnering up with the Salvation Army, Thornton Heath, to hold a series of artist takeovers and events from October until December.

Croydon Shared, is a collaboration by artist PINS and designer Samantha Warren, co-founder of Scene In Croydon. During lock down the creatives set up community gallery on Instagram.

Samantha’s series of prints including of Thornton Heath, celebrate Croydon debunking many of the negative messages.

While PINS, is a well known sketch artist who has earned an international reputation for his original art concepts. More recently PINS, had a show at Croydon Museum an has been working with Samantha designing street banners.

A third Thornton Heath artist and photographer Wesley Baker, of CDN is also involved in the project
