A 24-year-old man has been arrested following a fight which left three teens with knife injuries.

Police were called at approximately 6.30pm to London Road, following reports of a fight in an alleyway next to the KFC at The Pond.

 

Emergency services carried out life saving treatment to stabilise the teenagers one of the victims is suffering with “life-threatening or life-changing” injuries.

The incident involving four males happened in the alleyway called Raymead Passage, which is between Brigstock Road and Raymead Avenue.

A police spokesman said: “Victim 1, a 24-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of affray following treatment.

“He has been taken to a south London police station where he remains in custody.

“Victim 2, a 23-year-old man, and victim 3, a 19-year-old man, remain in hospital in a stable condition.”

Detectives from Croydon CID are investigating.

In a statement released yesterday a London Ambulance spokesman said: “We were called to London Road at just after 6.35pm. We sent a number of staff to the scene including three ambulance crews, an officer and an emergency paramedic.
“Our staff treated three male patients, who were all conscious.”

The Met Police  said last night that one of the victims is suffering with “life-threatening or life-changing” injuries, whilst two others are suffering with “potentially life-threatening or life-changing injuries”.

Police were called to an alleyway called Raymead Passage, which is between Brigstock Road and Raymead Avenue, to reports of four males fighting at 6.33pm.

Three males are being treated for stab injuries and one of the victims is suffering with “life-threatening or life-changing” injuries.

Officers remain at the scene and no arrests have yet been made.
