A teenage boy who has been charged after two school girls were stabbed has also been charged with sexually assaulting another girl in Thornton Heath in 2019.

The 15-year-old boy who will appear today in custody at Bromley Youth Court  has also been charged with the sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl on Norfolk Road in November 2019.

The girls were attacked as they walked to school.

– two counts of GBH;

– one count of ABH;

– two counts of sexual assault;

– one count of assault by penetration;

– one count of robbery

He was arrested on Sunday (November 8 ) in connection with two incidents where teenage girls, both aged 15, had been assaulted on Moffat Road and St  Paul’s Road,  on Wednesday (November 4) and Friday (November 6) while walking to school.

The teenager was arrested in the early hours of Sunday (November 8) at a residential address.
Police were called at 8:23am on Friday November 6 to St Paul’s Road, to reports of an injured girl.
 
At the scene a 15-year-old girl had been approached by a stranger and stabbed in the arm. She was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where her condition was deemed not life threatening.
 
This followed an incident at 8.50am on Wednesday, (November 4) when police were called to reports of an injured girl in Moffat Road, Croydon. At the scene at 15-year-old girl had, again, been approached by a stranger and stabbed in the leg.
 
The victim was taken to hospital where her condition was confirmed as not life threatening.
