Crystal Palace stars Max Meyer and Mamadou Sakho joined children to play football, dodgeball, golf and archery at a summer club which keeps children healthy during the school holidays.

Run by the Palace for Life Foundation, the free holiday club ran four days a week throughout the summer at Heavers Farm Primary School in South Norwood and at Salvation Army in Thornton Heath to help families in Croydon. The Premiership stars also handed out free tickets to a pre season friendly at Selhurst Park. The club focused on physical activities with every child getting a healthy lunch and a snack each day.

The  programme is backed by Croydon Council and Family Action Health.
