Developers have revised plans for a nine storey tower block in the heart of Thornton Heath.

The proposed 50 per cent affordable housing scheme at Station Yard, 56 Brigstock Road, (behind Iceland car park) would now include more family homes.  However, there doesn’t appear to have been any concessions on parking or on the height of the towers which will loom over houses on Melfort Road.

On first glance the amendments are: the number of flats 58 remains unchanged but the mix of accommodation is changed with 23 three bedroom flats instead of two.

Kenexa (Thornton Heath) purchased the land for £675,000 in February 2018.
