The Ahmadiyya Muslim Ladies Association of Thornton Heath pictured enjoying cooking for the community.

The Association works as part of an auxiliary organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK, known as Lajna Imaillah and are one of 100 branches across the UK.

They regularly seek opportunities to help the local community.

In January of 2017, the Association made its first visit to the Croydon Refugee Day Centre to offer to cook for the refugees and have made at least two further visits.  Dishes cooked include: homemade chapattis, chicken and vegetable curry, and sweet rice.
