A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after being stabbed multiple times.

Police were called at 9.12pm this evening (Sat) to reports of a stabbing on Bensham Lane.

Officers attended along with colleagues from London Ambulance Service.

A Met spokesman said: “He has been taken to hospital; we await an update on his condition.

“No arrests; enquiries continue.”

In March 2017 Bjorn Brown, who was from South Norwood was stabbed to death on Bensham Lane  near the junction with London Road.

Police renewed appeals for information on his killers in December last year but still no arrests have been made.

Police believe 23-year-old Bjorn was attacked by two men who then ran along Bensham Lane towards Cameron Road.
