Thornton Heath Taekwondo ace Kristian Fernandes has become a European bronze medal holder.  

Kristian, who is in Year 5 at the Whitehorse Manor Brigstock Road site, flew to Germany to compete in the European President

Cup for Children. He competed in the

29B class and fought five fights to

claim his silverware.

Kristian trains with the ATA Allen Taekwondo Academy, which runs sessions at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre. Monday 6-7pm, Thursday 6-8pm and Saturday 2-4pm. For more information: www.atauk.com
