Join new mum Maxine Parkes  at Thornton Heath Rec at 10am Monday’s and Thursday’s and get fit.

Maxine came up with idea as she wanted to get back into shape after having her first child back in February.

The aim is to exercise using your buggies and your babies as weights.

Maxine said: “ Trying to get to the gym when you have a baby is next to impossible not to mention expensive when your paying for a membership that you never use! So I decided that I would go to the park with the bubba and exercise a couple of times a week.

“Then I thought, there must be some local mums that feel the same and so the idea of  Squats n Tots was born.”

This is a relaxed environment giving mums an opportunity to meet and socialise with other mums while getting fit. Meeting point by the exercise machines.
