CR7Culture invites you to a FREE networking launch event.

If you are an individual or organisation interested or working in arts, heritage or the cultural sector in the local area, come along for some drinks, nibbles and conversations on Wednesday June 27; 7-9.30pm at St Paul’s Church.

Alongside hearing from key movers and shakers in the area and beyond, you will also be entertained by local resident Stefan Szczelkun.

Stefan is an artist, writer and countercultural activist, who will be hosting AGITDISCO, breaking the usual DJ mould by inviting a little conversation between tunes, as well as prompting attendees to share their stories through music.

Bring along a vinyl record that has influenced and inspired you and say why you have chosen it?

CR7Culture has been created after consultation with the local community, groups, individuals through workshops, social media and The Chronicle.

A steering group of local volunteers has been guiding and developing CR7Culture since a larger meeting in early September 2017 set out an agenda for a Thornton Heath Arts Vision.

CR7Culture’s aim is to work alongside new and established arts, heritage and cultural organisations together with individuals and community groups to encourage, promote and enhance the diverse creative talent and to promote a vibrant community in Thornton Heath.

Chair of CR7Culture Chetna Kapacee, who organised the staged musical entertainment at January’s successful Lumiere festival in Trumble Gardens,  said: “Come along, meet like-minded people and lets see what we can do together.”
