Sign up for an online letter writing workshop and learn how to lift the spirits of others while raising money for a cancer charity appeal.

The event is part of a series of activities planned by Sue Ahmad  and her friend Tara Cotton to raise money for Guy’s Cancer Centre to thank them for the support they gave Sue during her cancer diagnoses.

The online zoom writing workshop hosted by From Me to You takes place on March 14 7pm to 8pm and is full of tips on how to write to friends, family and even strangers, via the donate a letter programme.

Sue said: “It’s so lovely to receive a handwritten letter. While I was having cancer treatment and feeling extremely isolated, the letters received ‘From Me to You’ really lifted my spirit and gave me something to look forward to. I would save it up to read in a moment of stillness as I had so many chaotic appointments.”

All that is requested to take part is a donation of £5 or more.
