Elves, reindeers, Santa and Healthy Eagle’s were all present at a Christmas Family Fun Day at the Salvation Army.
The Palace for Life team dressed up and entertained children with games, face painting and competitions before serving up a delicious festive feast.
The Foundation has been providing activities every week at the Salvation Army’s High Street centre.
There has been something for everyone with free Healthy Eagles sessions – teaching children healthy eating and exercise in a fun environment – every Tuesday from 5pm to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 12:30pm.
Every Thursday from 10:30am to 12:30pm there are free activities for over 50’s including: table tennis, films, music, informal exercise, board games, short mat bowls, Nintendo Wii games as well as free tea and coffee.
