Scene in Croydon is selling off one of their best selling ‘Croydon heart’ prints to raise funds for Mind in Croydon.

Thornton Heath textile artist Samantha Warren runs Scene in Croydon with fellow artist Danni Livett.

Samantha said: ”I saw a recent call out from Mind for donations and wanted to help by creating something special that can be cherished and act as a reminder of when our community came together to support each other.”

Mental wellbeing is so important and Mind’s services are in very high demand during the current pandemic. The charity has had to close their shops so will probably lose at least £15,000 a month of funding so is in need of donations.

The print can be purchased from: www.etsy.com/your/shops/SceneInCroydon

Scene in Croydon has also organised a Colour Croydon colouring activity which is being hosted by the Museum of Croydon. More details can be found on www.museumofcroydon.com/colourcroydon

Samantha and Danni have sketched some of their favourite landmarks in Croydon for you all to colour in. All the entries are then featured on the museum’s online gallery with their top picks.
