Palace star Wilfried Zaha (pictured)  is helping to promote a charity football match uniting the community in tackling knife crime.

The Cut it Out event which is being held at Crystal  Palace Football Club on May 25: 10am-5pm, has been organised by Croydon BME Forum, Croydon Council, councillors, Met police and local youth organisations.

The event will include  over 30 stalls, introducing various support avenues for young people and families as well as independent businesses from the local community.  There will also be competitions and workshops throughout the day. 

The  main event will be the football match which will see teams compete from Croydon Council, The Lions Society, Met police, London Road businesses  and young stars of Croydon. For more info: www.cutiout2019.co.uk
