Thornton Heath carnival has been cancelled for a second year as it has been too difficult to organise because of the pandemic

The September event which attracts crowds in their thousands was also cancelled last year because of Covid. 

Planning for the event begins in January but because  of Covid restrictions it proved too difficult to organise especially with the uncertainty around when we would step out of lockdown.
