Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle has called for the killers of her nephew Bjorn Brown to hand themselves in.

Ms Bogle, 51, who starred in several series of the hit Channel 4 show and lives in Thornton Heath said:  “They are not just destroying one person, they are destroying a whole family, plus friends, aunties, uncles. It affects everybody.”

Mr  Brown, 23, from south Norwood, known to friends as ‘Bugz,’ was attacked  at about 8.30pm on Wednesday March 29 in Kelling Gardens, Broad Green. He attempted to cycle away but collapsed in Bensham Lane where he was found by passers by and later died in hospital. His killers made off down Bensham Lane towards Cameron Road.

Thornton Heath grime artist Stormzy  and Reading footballer Callum Harriott   also paid tribute to their childhood friend on Twitter.

Borough commander Chief Supt Jeff Boothe said: “We are treating it as a priority, because this young man has a family and they would expect us to be doing everything within our power to identify the people that were involved in this crime.”

Flowers were laid at the scene, and a number of Mr Brown’s friends wore T-shirts with his photograph on.
