Birds Eye View of Thornton Heath Art

These incredible birds eye views of the Thornton Heath art trail were commissioned to feature in a guide of London.

The images captured by photographer Michael Shilling, Director at Memory Gate Studios in Croydon, using a fisheye lens, appear on the home page of the new London National Park City Wiki.

The wikipedia is a collaborative guide to all aspects of the London National Park City.

Michael who is also a member of the photography group Lenses of Croydon, created an amazing series of 350 degree angle shots of the mosaics and murals in and around Thornton Heath.

They take the traveller on the trail from Grangewood Park, along the High Street and Brigstock Road via Brook Road and Frant Road to Thornton Heath Pond. 

The murals and mosaics were commissioned by the council, and Thornton Heath Community Action Team as part of its Street Action initiative and The Friends of Grangewood Park.
