Police are investigating an armed robbery at bookmaker Coral on Ambassador House forecourt.

Two police cars and an ambulance were at the scene of the raid earlier today but its been reported that no one was hurt in the robbery.

An officer was seen standing guard at the door of Coral on Brigstock Road after the raid, which took place at around 10.50am.

Police have said that the robbers made of with ‘a quantity of cash’.
