Launched in October 2016, The Thornton Heath Chronicle aims to cover all local news and events in Thornton Heath. The newspaper is run by a team of unpaid volunteers and promotes community journalism.

The majority of the articles are written by local people about our community.  All money raised from advertising or sponsorship is ploughed back in to the publication of the newspaper.

The Chronicle took its name from a pre-war publication which little is known about but just as then if we don’t communicate as a community then we miss out on so much.

Times are different now with social media but The Chronicle team felt it was important to not only have an online presence but a paper version of The Chronicle.

We hope you agree!
