
A woman was arrested after overturning a car and then allegedly giving a breath test reading of three times the legal drink-drive limit.
The driver was taken in to custody after crashing overnight on Monday, April 2, into Tuesday, April 3 on Thornton Heath High Street.
Croydon MPS posted on Twitter at 1.24am on April 3: “Female now in custody after overturning her car on #THeath High St and crashing into a parked vehicle.
“Blew triple the drink drive limit on the breathalyser! Thankfully no other persons injured and the road is now reopened.
The car, police added, overturned and crashed into a parked vehicle.
The road was briefly closed while the police dealt with the situation.No injuries were reported from the crash.
