In 2018 Lumiere London – the outdoor arts event produced by arts charity Artichoke featuring creations from more than 40 light installations – returns over four nights between January 18 to 21 with works exhibited both north and south of the River Thames.

The following week on Saturday January 27, some of the lanterns from the Leicester Square installations will transfer to Trumble Gardens on Brigstock Road.

The first artists have already been announced for the music performances and include:

  • Up-and-coming singer songwriter, Dede Davi, who will be performing her original music and covers include a hit she had overseas which she worked on with Alan wilder from Depeche Mode.
  • West End star dancer and singer Alex Ko.
  • Stush is one of the pioneers of UK underground music, having broken through with Dollar Sign then having a UK top ten hit with Groove Armada.
  • The Skamonics, a London based seven piece ska band led by Thornton Heath resident Mark Huggett, will be playing a unique mix of authentic 60s ska, two-tone and completely unexpected covers.
