Ten-year-old Luella White loves Thornton Heath so much that she created a map which features some of her favourite places.

Among Luella’s top attractions is the ’amazing art bridge’ on Bensham Manor Passage, between Bensham Manor Road and Elm Road, which she helped paint as part of a Thornton Heath Community Action Team project transforming the uninviting and former graffiti ridden pedestrian walk way.

Her mum Ashleigh Jade said: “She absolutely loves drawing and has become really rather good at it. Her favourite place in Thornton Heath is the bridge she helped to paint with Vân Dang because it was a fun day and it makes her smile to look at it.”
